Rainbow Riders is a welcoming, hands-on horsemanship program designed especially for young horse lovers ages 4–8. Our goal is to introduce children to the joy of horses in a safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment where curiosity is encouraged and every child can succeed.
Through age-appropriate activities and gentle instruction, students build foundational horsemanship skills while learning how to interact with horses safely and kindly. Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to help children grow in confidence, responsibility, and independence, whether they are grooming their pony, leading on the ground, or experiencing the basics of riding on a lead. We can’t wait to welcome your child into the barn and share the magic of horses with them.
Each class follows a consistent structure so students know what to expect and can clearly see their progress over time.

Through guided activities and age-appropriate instruction, students learn essential horsemanship skills such as leading, grooming, tacking, basic horse care, and the fundamentals of riding while on a lead. Each lesson emphasizes safety, kindness, and respect for the horse, helping children build a strong foundation both in and out of the saddle.

Rainbow Riders is led by Coach Liz, who brings a strong background in Early Childhood Education and is a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. At Rainbow Riders, we believe learning about horses is about more than riding. It’s about developing responsibility, patience, empathy, and confidence. Whether it’s a child’s first time meeting a horse or the start of a lifelong passion, Rainbow Riders creates a positive and memorable experience for every student.
