Our horse lessons for ages 8–12 are all about having fun while learning in a safe, supportive environment. Kids are introduced to horses through age-appropriate riding and horsemanship activities that build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork—without pressure.
Safety always comes first. Lessons are carefully supervised, with gentle horses, clear guidance, and plenty of encouragement. Along the way, kids learn how to care for horses, communicate clearly, and work together, all while building friendships with other kids who share their love of animals.
It’s more than a lesson—it’s a place where kids feel welcome, supported, and excited to learn.

Each class follows a consistent structure so students know what to expect and can clearly see their progress over time.

Our goal is to help every child feel capable, supported, and proud of their progress, one ride at a time.

It is our top priority that students are educated in all aspects of horses, from start to finish. Students learn how to approach horses in the pasture, halter, lead, tie, groom, tack, and move around the horse safely.

Students will build towards becoming independent while riding so that they can begin to connect and communicate effectively with their equine partner.

While horses are a ton of fun, they also require dedication and hard work. Our program truly prepares a student for a real-life future with horses, where they can be a responsible steward of the industry.

Students will learn the science behind the saddle by discovering equine evolution, psychology, anatomy, digestion, and more.
