Explore True Blue Equine Horsemanship School

The Rainbow Riders curriculum includes simple unmounted horsemanship sessions and basic riding skills on a lead line. It is generally meant for younger riders who are not able to ride independently. All skills are practiced with the assistance of a coach and/or barn buddy. Once weekly sessions are 30-45 minutes and age-appropriate with an emphasis on safety and fun!  Students work towards specific horse skill objectives in a space that promotes social-emotional learning and growth!

This program is designed to give students a safe overview of basic mounted and unmounted skills. It introduces safety concepts for handling horses on the ground and in the saddle, including grooming, tacking up, and riding. We use a progressive levels-based curriculum with transparent objectives and easy achievement tracking. Sessions are 60-75 minutes in length and each class is 10 weeks.
